Winter Bluegrass Jubilee 2019

The Winter Bluegrass Jubilee is a fundraiser for YAM, the Young Appalachian Musicians. This organization teaches over 300 kids yearly how to play traditional Southern Appalachian Music by ear on the banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and guitar utilizing traditional pickers from our area as instructors. The funds raised from this event help kids on free and reduced lunch to have 20 lessons per year in an afterschool music program, attend a week long summer camp, and participate in performances at this event and KidsFest in the spring.
